Given Chavez's support of leftists around South America, I dare suggest that the Colombians are right that he's been supporting the murderers of Colombians. There's also a reality that Chavez has accomplished something remarkable; he's bankrupting his oil-producing nation in a market that's paying over $100 per barrel for crude. Rattling the saber can help people ignore empty store shelves.
