“It’s been brought to my attention by several reliable sources that the Defense Department has brought Louay Safi to Fort Hood as an instructor, and that he has been lecturing on Islam to our troops in Fort Hood who are about to deploy to Afghanistan. Safi is a top official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and served as research director at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).

“Worse, last evening, Safi was apparently permitted to present a check (evidently on behalf of ISNA) to the families of the victims of last month’s Fort Hood massacre. A military source told the blogger Barbarossa at the Jawa Report: ‘This is nothing short of blood money. This is criminal and the Ft. Hood base commander should be fired right now.’

“ISNA was identified by the Justice Department at the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing conspiracy trial as an unindicted co-conspirator.”

If the activities of Safi at Foot Hood are confirmed, Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, as the Fort Hood commander, should be stripped of his stars, reduced to E-1, and join Private George Casey in cleaning latrines with a toothbrush at the Walter Reed Medical Center Diarrhea Ward.

Another lie by the Liar-in-Chief.

Also, a very large part of the security (and financial) burden will be placed on NYPD during the trial. Security will be needed for the courtroom location, the judge, lawyers, jury, court staff, and all of their families and close relatives, and to prevent an increased probability of any terrorist activity in NY.

This is in addition to the media clymer circus, along with protestors on both or more sides, that will turn the trial into a daily publicity diversion for any other POTUS or Polosi FUBARs back in DC.

If anything hits the fan, NY will take the blame. If everything were to go okay, the 0bamassiah will claim the credit.

In her column, “Bombshell: Obama bringing KSM to NYC for trial” Michelle Malkin notes the DOD’s Victim Witness Program’s pre-announcement of the planned trial, and a response by a brother of a fireman killed on 9/11 by Islamoterrorists:

“We have an announcement as well: we will fight with every remaining breath in our bodies both their bringing KSM and the rest of the 9/11 conspirators to federal courtrooms within walking distance of where they slaughtered our loved ones. And whomever finds Manhattan’s federal courthouse near Ground Zero a ’sentimental favorite’ for the 9/11 trials is a damn fool and they ALL ought to be fired. Pass that message on, far, wide, and up and down the chain-of-command.”

There it is AGAIN: “blamed on a Muslim American soldier.” It practically drips with the suggestion that the ‘blame’ is merely that. Again, I beg of you: who else do they have in mind? Wishing that it were not a Muslim will not make it so.

Accounting one as a child of God does not, in any way, prohibit the labels ‘primitive’ and ’savage’ from being utilized. In fact, I’ve been known to be a bit savage myself, on occasion How about ‘heathen?’ Is that also out-of-bounds because it makes people uncomfortable by the very act of categorization?

Why not? Is it somehow un-loving to designate the unconverted as such, or is it merely a factual statement? I’ll grant you, I desire the death and damnation of no one (read that again, for emphasis), but there remain those that will not allow for any other alternative. If God derives no pleasure from the deaths of the wicked, then neither do I.

But, as I’ve said before, that does not rule out relief at their absence, while simultaneously lamenting their damnation.
