What? No “The Purpose-Driven Lutheran”?

Any idea what all these shows are? I would hope that they are not all Issues Etc./White Horse Inn clones.

My wish list:

A show that discusses Church history, from the time of Christ up to now, but focusing mainly on the Early Church.

A show that discusses the Lutheran Confessions and Lutheran history.

A show about the liturgy (corporate and private) and hymnody. Might also discuss church architecture and the “tools of the trade” (ie the alter, processional cross, candles, robes etc.)

I would like to see a show devoted to a study of the Lutheran Confessions/Book of Concord.

When can we expect to hear Veith on PCR? I think a weekly hour long show is in order.

You’d think that a church body, called to proclaim to all people the message of Christ crudified for their sins, would grab onto such new, relatively inexpensive technology and put it to work to that end.
Think again, I guess.
Thanks to Chris Rosebrough for doing just that, however. If I’m not mistaken, Pirate Christian Radio was his baby, which has awaited an auspicious moment in which to be born. It’s perhaps a moment of history, that is has come to life.
